Turkeys

Wild Turkeys – They are native to North America. These turkeys were photographed in Wyoming. Adults males can have up to 6,000 feathers which keep it warm, dry, and allows it to fly and to show off to the opposite sex. They can fly up to 55 mph and run up to 25 mph. Hens lay from 10 to 12 eggs. The baby called a poult will chip entirely around the large part of the egg so it can get out of the egg.
